View Full Version : invention....came to me in a dream

We have all had to pee on the jobsite and there is not always one of those little outhouses around. So I thought about making the front triangle door pocket in your service vehicle a pee troff. Just open your door halfway and let er rip. You could run a drain line to a bottle under the truck and empty it later.

wow.:D nice dream.

must of being a horrible night, ill bet that the first thing you did waking up, is a huge P.

Did it end up being a "wet" dream, Steve?

RoBoTeq

Why not just pee in a bottle, cap it and toss it? Remind me not to ride in your truck there Steve.

Technology at it's peak.

Why don't you send that one into monster garage?

Convert station wagon into American standard urinal with low flush valve.

When ever I have to pee on the jobsite i just find the nearest sump pump. Its so funny to walk in to a new house and see a sign on the sump pump that say "Please do not use the sump for a toilet"

I hate to tell you but that is really called a nightmare.
Cutting up you truck door so you can pee in it??
Are your freon cans tightly sealed? You better get some caps for em.

They can pee in Dr. Steve's door.

Diceman

Good idea, if his biz gets slow, he can use his truck as a
Port-A-John on wheels..........now YOU have a good idea, take it to concerts and sporting events and drive around the parking lot looking for drunks.
Why do I think it may take Steve a while to live this one down?

Diceman
10-19-2003, 11:00 PM
they do have a business that will come to your house and pick up your dog poop for you. Really, scheduled puppy poop pick ups. So don't complain about this hvac crap anymore, it could be worse a lot worse:)

Have you ever actually tried peeing in a bottle going down the road ? It's harder, no more difficult that you think !

Diceman

Dumbest idea in the history of H-Tlk, dumbest in the history of the hvac industry, dumbest in the history of the world, hell it's even dumbest in the entire universe, I know aliens would be insulted if I didn't inclued them.

Well, you can pull over ya know, and stand next to the truck if you have to. I mean, hey, we guys got that advantage, use it.

Cut a hole in the seat and put a cardboard box under it. That way if you have to take a dump, no problem. Ya might wanna stock up on them cheesy air freshners though, the ones ya hang from the mirror that smell like a whore in heat.

Well actually I tried this on a trip and was trying to make good time. You know how it is.

Well now we are getting into a completely different invention. How about a condom with vinyl tubing glued to a hole in the resevoir tip run to a bottle or through a hole in the floor of the truck. Just don't get pulled over for anything, that might be difficult to explain.

Ok I did the unimaginable search for portable urinals. Here are my results:

http://www.acespilotshop.com/pilot-supplies/safety/kant-wate-kw-104-female.htm

And for a unisex model:
http://store.yahoo.com/comfort/portableurinal.html
Suitable for the whole family.

http://www.comforthouse.com/comfort/porjoh.html

One thing I noticed though. Most are made for women. Between my wife and I , I'm usually the one who has to "stop ten zillion times" as she puts it.

Sorry Steve. They beat you to the punch !

My neighbor is a real jerk, so...
If I'm heading home late, I hold it and "water" his mail box post. I can stand in the shadows of a bush on the property line and water away without trespassing.

My father is a truck driver that has claimed to have used an ice chest when he had a sever case of the runs. Pulled over, let her rip, closed the lid, and drove off. Next to that Steve's invention is genuis. Wouldn't like to be the poor sap who accidentally opened it.

I've threatened to mount a commode in the back of my cube van, with a 4" pipe out the back, just above the bumpre, next to the license plate, with a rope tied to a pulley to the flush lever.

Then when some NY/NJ tourist is tailgating me at 70...

I'd need two of them after my morning coffee!

Like I said, whatever happened to just pulling over on the highway and lettin' loose? Or going behind the condensing unit, for you residential guys.

Me, I've marked every roof I've ever been on as MY territory...

tex
10-24-2003, 11:05 AM
It is primal instinct for males to mark their territory. All these years of peeing behind condensers, in customers bushes, under houses, and on roof tops, I thought it was for relief. Now I realize it was to show other companies that this is my territory. Well, I'll show them. I'm going to start peeing in the disconnect.

Work best just don't forget whats in it unless your breaking in a new helper. :D

I was taught not to use homeowners potty which to me meant not to pee anywhere on their property. Some of my ideas were: A long neck funnel (made in Texas) through a hole in floor of van to a large container with drain valve of course. A cup of bleach after every use.

A shop vac like container that uses engine vacuum just don't REV the engine too high :D

But really a chemical potty is not that expensive and you can write it off on your taxes, I think.

wolfdog
10-24-2003, 01:44 PM
I know a cross country truck driver that would pee in a plastic baggy and then throw it out the window.

Best friends dad 35yr HVAC tec told me. If you really need to go in a busy area pull off the road. Open the side door of the van use one hand to control things and the other to point to the top of a convient tree. Everyone will look to see what you are pointing at and pay no attention to your temporary irrigation. The best part was I saw him do this as I drove buy on one of the busiest streets in the city I nearl drove off the road!
