Did everyone notice the prefabricated manifolds. They are the best thing since sliced bread. The only thing we do different is that we put a boiler cock in between the return shut off valve and the circulator. When you purge the air out of one circuit at a time it makes it quicker to get the air out of the entire system. We have found.

But if you notice these circulators are on the supply side. Bell and Gossette recommends this but you find few who do it this way. Putting the circulators on the supply side is suppose to help get the air out of the system. So if we piped this way we would put a boiler cock before the shut off valve on the return manifold.

Real nice job.

there is a 2" valve on the return, by closing this valve and isolating each individual zone. bleeding could be done by one valve on the end of the return and not swicthing hoses.
