I am also trying to get some TEC devices, about 74 to be exact across 3 FLNs on a MEC communicating again after the MEC lost its database and we are unable to get the connection reestablished to Insight. If this software you have would be helpful I would really like to get my hands on a copy.

Does this software work on only the Siemens TEC or does it work on all the viconics made TECS/VT7600 stuff

I have found a work around for older dos based software that doesn't like to run under XP or Vista. It's called DOSBOX. It's freeware and was developed by the gamers who like to run old games on new systems. The other benefit it has is it remaps the virtual serial port to USB so you can use a USB to serial adapter. Some of my old programs like the unitary controller software run under Vista but can't use the USB to serial adapter unless their run under DOSBOX.
