I have a Trane 2TEC3f60.... AHU with a pcm non-vs motor with the plastic blower vortica case.
I was looking at a 4TEE3b65..... AHU with a vs motor. This case was pretty simple looking sheet metal that was round around the vanes.
I would have thought the higher tech looking vortica case is better and quieter and Trane would have used it on the vs version.
Anyone have an opinion on these two blower housings????
