Here's another clue.

Three condenser coils in 3 years. Why? If you didn't already know, Lennox, for some time, was making condenser coils that would blow refrigerant leaks caused from the tube sheet cutting into the tubing. This problem seemed to occur mainly in the 4 and 5 ton models. Not only that, they were replacing them, under warranty, with the the same defective coils.

The coil and the hot gas distribution tubing went through a complete redesign, but it only took them several years to realize there was a problem. Our small two-man company replaced at least twenty of these coils during this time, several more than once, as in this case.

Like I always say, "That A'boy Dave",My god , and Lennox actually wants U to pay them to become a Dealer and sell there crap, Hmmmmmmmmmm!Why are people doing it, Boggles the Mind!

We are a Lennox dealer( owned by Lennox)We have had those problems and they have been warrenty the coils we have found and changed out. They say they have increase the coil thickness and gave more space for movement. We will have to see.

Yep found a few of those this year :)
