XL20i- looking for advice

Hello still looking for that magic advice. I have the contractor coming out tomorrow.

Are there any common installation mistakes with the stages I can mention.?
What are some good duct questions. I want to put them on the spot to find why this Unit is not cooling today was overcast and the house was cool just doesnt suffice to get to lower temperatures.

I am seriously thinking about making them change it out to a single stage unit that will cool better I am already paying more in power anyway.... I will fight there restocking fee due to inferior product..

Does the unit only run the second stage when it is hot outside.? are there any other reason it would come on other that that? (ie low stage on to long) I have FPL coming out but not until some time in Sept. for my energy evaulation.

Is the system fully communicating? Since this was from last night did your contractor find any problem?

It appears those sophisticated systems are more difficult to setup correctly.

The Ductwork system & airflow has to be setup right.
