Another quality install by our "crack installation team". I think that's what they're smokin!

If thats a Carrier adapter curb that is how some come out. Pretty sad if you ask me. Your missing the support between the condenser end of the RTU and the roof. That units going to end up falling off the curb without it. It comes with the adapta curb!!!!

This is a 6 year old building, all VVT, and I just started getting calls here. All units installed by the company I work for,and it's a disgrace...but I gotta eat,so mums the word. The compressors are located in the section hanging out in mid-air, and on a 90 deg day, I sit on the exposed section of curb on the left, and the curb leaks chill me right down nice

I think youll need to bite the bullit and install the support rails under the comp ends the way they should be installed. :(

It at least needs a classy 4x4 or Tiny Tims crutch.

look at the flashing it's buckled from the weight being off center without support.A 16ga. curb adapter would have been a better idea IMO.Don't you guys have a metal shop?I would still show the pic to the boss.You can see why many cities require a structural engineers stamped drawing for 5t & above now for sure.lol

Ya, Sheet metal is sub-contracted out, but fridge guys do the lift. i don't think I would have let the crane leave the site until this problem was ironed out. And yes, I'm gonna have to confront a boss about this mess, this is not the only unit falling off the curb... and they just love to kill the messenger at my place of employment :)

Well your not supposed to notice minor problems like the units falling off the curb, sinking into the roof, etc. Especialy since your company installed it. Your supposed to walk around oblivious to these types of minor anoyances!!! :)
