What is the optimal relative humidity and temperature for a home? I am running 50% and 76*.

For me, its 72 degrees, and 48%RH.

I feel warm above those.

What RH would be considered to high and cause problems with mold?

Any time above 50% you have potential.

But, lot of places are at 55%, and have no problems.

Keeping it at or below 50% is good to prevent mold

I'm at 76* and 47% during hot weather when AC is running.

If outdoor drops to mid 70's then AC doesn't run as much and RH approaches 50% and I begin to notice a "sticky; feeling. Turned on the "3* droop" feature to remove humidity and when unit runs down to 74* I really start to feel too cold. Not sure how some like it at 72*.

Now to bring it up. IMHO, your weight does seem to have an effect on how you set your temp. My wife is small with little body fat and on ocassion she complains that the 76* is too cold... I'm carrying around an extra 30 lbs and need 76* to feel cool....
