Water Pan Question

Is is normal to have about an inch of water in the water pan the attic air carrier sits in? It's a brand new unit.

No. Call your installer back. The unit is not draining properly.

I will tell the installers. It seams the water is going to one side of the tray but the drain hole is on the other side. So it is not level I suppose. Probaly wont pass inspection either.

The pan under the air handler is an emergency backup drain pan. If there is any water in it you have problems with the AC system. Call your installer.
