I am adding an addition to my house. Three Bedrooms. The AC guy (Trane) is taking out my old unit ( A comforter sx2300) it is a 2 ton unit and runs with R22. That is all I know since I am not a AC or even a handy man for that matter. The unit is only about a year old. Was wondering if I should try to sell it on ebay and if anyone knew how much it might be worth? thanks;)

Worth a try on E-bay or ask your dealer if he might now a cheap landlord who will buy it from him if the dealer gets the install work.

ok dokie. I get the price thing but its not like I am taking a job away from anyone, just trying to see its worth so I can sell it off is all. Not looking to install it just give it up to someone.

Just put a price to it, and see if anybody offers you that amount.
Ebay has auctions, you can accept the bid, or decline it.
