venting

The Vision Pro 8000 with dehumidification stat dehumidifies through overcooling. The IAQ has the ability to slow down the blower for dehumidification. The system is a Trane 15i with variable speed air handler. Is there that much difference between these two dehumification options.
-Vision Pro 8000 overcool plus utilize Comfort R
-IAQ dehumidify on demand (decrease blower speed) no Comfort R
I realize that with the IAQ I will benefit by not using Comfort R. The blower will come on full speed if humidity levels are sufficient.
I'm just wondering as far as cost savings go which is the better option with a single stage unit. The other IAQ features will be of no use to me (humidifier, dehumidifier, etc.).
