Here is a neat slide show of a roll of film I took as my 11 year old, Michelle, learned to waterski out at our new cottage. The boat and driver is my neighbor there, Robert, and really great person, ex-policeman.

Day one, she is on the pole, day 2 she is on the rope. The first 3 photos were supposed to be "scenic" but there was not enough light. The lady in the boat is my wife Lucie.

Look at that smooooooth water. When I taught the niece to ski, she didn't have a pole and it we had 3' waves! Where were you, Don? Charter a helicopter to get those pix?:D

Nice pictures. Looks like you will be in the market for a boat and slalom ski soon.

Yeah, I had never seen a pole before, it really helped her a lot, let her get the feel and then the next time she was up first time on the rope!

The ones on the pole, I was on the boathouse with my zoom lens and the ones on the rope, I was in the boat, with my fingers crossed! The pics were taken with my Canon S-10 35mm and the developing shop scans them to the web for you, pretty neat.

Yeah, you can believe that Michelle has been saying the same thing! Somehow our brand new kayak just doesn't quite cut it anymore.

James, the slide show thing is a java program I think, so it may take a while to load, try just waiting a while.

Here are a couple of stills. James, this girl is one of your fans and still has a picture of Froggy and Kramer on her wall.

Cool! I taught my daughter and a bunch of her friends how to water ski and they still talk about it to this day.

Don we bought a new Sea Doo deckboat this year for the express purpose of teaching step daughter to ski.
She is 21 and never done water sports before she loves it.
The enjoy the towables even more not as tiring.
We are going out tomorrow with her and a few of her friends.
Sea Doo is a Canadian company very nice boat.

Speaking of jokes Don, I tried water skiing years ago. Worst case of water rash you'll ever see.

It`s a shame you guys up there only get to play in the water 3 1/2 days.

I remember learning to ski and then slalom. Good fun and great exercise. Glad to see you taking time for the finer things in life (family). One question though, is that a tattoo on her right arm?

LOL, observant! It is not a real tattoo, it comes off in about week.

Hey, I got up too, first time I had water skied in over 30 years! I went around the loop one time and these little computer-guy legs were getting pretty tired! LOL

No belly flops Rob, but no pics allowed either! :)

I am up at the cottage with the family right now. We arrived last night, kids promptly threw me in the water fully dressed. Even had my infamous favorite running shoes on, of course. :D

Cool slide show. Was that done by Black's or yourself?
I am headed to Ontario in 1 week, have not been back since 79. Looking forward to visiting Wasaga beach, Toronto Zoo and maybe Niagra Falls if time permits.

I certainly deserved this one, but, I was thinking more like comparing to "road rash". But then, you knew that.

The people driving the boat got the biggest kick out of my not letting go of the tow rope when I went down. I kept thinking I could get back up again.

The slide show is by Black's.

Here are the pics you've all been waiting for!

Note the extreme speed, almost makes it look like my hairline is receeding

Nice pics, Boss. Michelle must have a cool dad. ;) Never seen one of those bar thingies before. I haven't been waterskiing in years. My abs are burning just looking at those pics. When the work breaks, maybe I should start spending a little time on the lake again :D

Not too bad on those things boss!
