I have found allot of bad caps, but never had to frequently replace a replacement one.Check the voltage ratting and mfd always use equivlent or higher value. They should'nt fail that fast.

The largest issue I have seen with caps in anything I have ever worked on including T.V's and things like that is people take short cuts and go with the lowest voltage cap that will work. You see stuff like a 12 volt cap with 11.8 volts going to it which over time will dry the cap up and cause it to fail. When I work on something if there is room put a larger voltage rating in and never see returns because of that. You however don't want to change how many mfd's the cap is only the voltage.
