Small problem cooling

Hello Newbe here. I have a 2 ton split system here in Texas I came to check it out because the Condenser triped sometime yesterday.
I found the fan motor died I changed it out and started the unit. The evap and airhandler in in the attic horazonal unit. I hooked the gages and the low side was at 25 deg ( 50 psi) R22 and high side was 120 deg (350 psi) the problem is the evap is cool 45 deg house vent 65 deg. The evap is using an orfice ont a valve.

The liquid line from condenser is hot the Suction line from the condenser is cool not sweating.

Temp is slowly droping but....


Any suggestions. As I have talked to all my mentors here they all !!!!???!!!??? no clue

Does this unit have a kernalator valve?

No it does not

I suggest you call a tech, explain to him what you did & pay him to correct it.

DIY or information that could be used as such isn't allowed in the general forum's.

OK..high pressure too high and low pressure too low, suction line not sweating which means the compressor is operating under unhealthy conditions and if it prolongs the unit will soon die.It appears to be a refrigerant flow problem a restriction of some component, eg. strainers,filters,metering device ect. Have a qualified tech look at it for you and check out your system for optimum performance.
