i pulled a fan delay switch off of a a unknown named evaporator in a reach in freezer..cant find this switch in the johnstone or uri catalog, heres what i have.:(
numbers on switch in this order from top to bottom:
37T23
43564
L50-20
8429
no manufacture name, has the two red and one black wire..
i cant find it anywhere..

thanks for the link dandy,it helped some..ill commit it to memory..but i would like to get a direct replacement for this one..if i can.

That should not be to hard to find the it's a open at 50 closes at 20 defrost term fan combo. Supco has one that's 55 open 35 closes pt# SL5709

use a johnson A419, total accurate control!!

clamp the A419 temp sensor on with the TX bulb and it gives a good visual on suction temp for future use, that only works good with gas defrost though, if you have electric you'll have to mount it where the old klixon was.

This could be in a True box. Check out Johnstone part# B14-712. The 37T23 crosses to this.

the switch i ordered got lost in the mail..and i need to get the system going..how would i wire past this 3 wire switch..2 red 1 black wire..

theres no cartoon on the 40 year old system and its remote .
i guess i could take it apart and finger it out....

If you need to bypass it (temporarily)...
One wire is the common or hot, one is to power the fans and the last one goes to the "X" terminal on the clock for termination.
Just disconnect the termination and tie the fan wire to the hot wire.
