I've tried to make sense of this thing for several days.
I understand that John Boehner read all 300 pages aloud while trying to understand it and help others to understand it.
My conclusion? Yet another horrendous piece of legislation shoved down the throats of collective America that no one understands at this time but will come to totally regret.
We can only "HOPE" and pray that the Senate will at least "CHANGE" or derail this thing.

These re-tard-heads need to go back to school and realize that they can't keep shoving legislation forward without even knowing what they're shoveling. That stimulus crap was just the tip of the ice berg. Those in the House of Representatives almost act as if they've forgotten that they are elected every two years.

We also need to track down the financial and corporate cheaters as well as those in government who used or misused their positions and power for personal gain and try them.

In my opinion one of the best things the president and congress could do right now is quit............... passing any new regulations or laws and simply allow free trade to sort things out itself. That is right. It sorts itself out via your vote and you vote every time you spend your hard earned money.

Hugh you need to read this bill, I tried and there are a few things that we can relate to here. First the option to not purchase from an entity or company will not be the issue. The Government and whomever they choose will tell you how and where to spend what little money you have. This bill is going to halt commerce and I mean all commerce, We will soon be like people in Europe that have to plan for months or even a year to go out to a restaurant.

The food services industry is going to take a huge hit especially in a town like Houston.

Here are a few of the things I have learned:
Water dispensers that cool or heat water are going to have an efficiency rating and will be required to have a timer, and I think at some point it will become retroactive to existing unit. They specifically mentioned the kind with the removable bottles.

All homes will have to be inspected by a GOV. auditor to meet code energy requirements before it can be sold. A GOV. person will come into your home and you will have to bring the windows, HVAC, insulation, water heater and water faucets/shower heads up to new codes before you can sell your home. This will bring the sale of existing homes to a screeching halt.
Almost all forms of energy production except wind, solar and sea action (wave tide generators) will be stopped or drastically curtailed. When the alternative energy percentages kick in and those sources cannot produce the power we need then conventional power sources will not be allowed to make up the difference energy will be rationed.

When you look at some of the dates it does not seem that close but they really are just around the corner. I only spent about an hour looking at this thing and it scares the hell out of me. Some I got from Glenn Beck and some I found on my own. What is also scary is the people that have the authority to implement and govern this. It is not congress or the elected officials it is Czars and Secretary's. people and entities that are not accountable to us or our elected bodies but to the President and his handpicked few. You know like a 30 year old kid that has never held job being put in charge of an automaker.

Ya Know Classical, in one of the very first threads I every created here in ARP I made the case that most of congress is guilty of treason and I gave my reasons for making that charge.

As weeks go by I am more convinced that I was right. The evidence keeps piling up. Imagine voting on a bill you have not even read. This is looking more and more like Germany in the 1930s.

Thing is , for the senators coming up for re-election they have to watch out.

Once people start realizing how the polititions have sold us out .......... their all gonna start getting voted out.

Won't matter if its a republican or Democrat .......... they have quit working for the people that voted them in.

The big question I have is how hard it will be to go back and and VOID out the bills that have been passed that will DESTROY THIS COUNTRY.
