behind riverbanks zoo in columbia sc- nice set of rapids- water comes up very quick here- they do have a horn and flashing lights that go off- give ya about 10 to 15 minutes to get to higher land-- but than that is one of the best times to fish it- kinda like high tide:)

That is a real nice spot ya got there !!!, it sure is relaxin to just sit there sometimes, but this is the time of year the stripers run on the river, we got browns n rainbows too, they ( state) stock twice a year in this river, the water comes from the bottom of lake muarry 360' ain't seen no sunshine, it feels real good on these 90 plus days:)

Yeah, just above the pump station about 2 miles. awesome fishing, rough walk. The big ones hit the Arkies salty crawlin grub and the little ones leave it alone.
