Never seen an OLDR16 a 15 but not a 16 and I don't see one listed http://sporlan.jandrewschoen.com/90-50.pdf. yes rebuild it and replace the ajusting stem. ? why such a high diff I set ours 15-20 lb and have no issues.

The OLDR-16 is the new replacement for the OLDR-15. (we're working on the literature :D) I agree, why have such a high differential? 15-20 psi should be adequate for defrost.

the lenth of return and lift to ensure adiquate defrost is where you want to set your differential
ground level 15-20 roof top the highest with a 300" run is 30 psi

seen them set as low as 12-13 for a publix with the rack just above the backery's 30 ft line set

want to keep a full coloum of liquid back to the rack on return line(maybe even some subcooling) feeding main liquid line, not hot gas and get a nice even defrost on the coil for at least five minutes

XTM is the adjustment stem part # i think and there is a sceen in there to keep clean

C.T your right its very high but my frz's are over 300 plus ft.away i always set it between 15-20 but it just seem to not work that low??so when i set it to 30-40 it works?? very odd but at the same time its not keeping the setting it seems to work its way back to 20# so am ordering a rebuilt kit
