View Full Version : HVAC-Talk... addicting AND painful

In the past few days I have been experiencing extreme pain and numbness in my hand. It appears that I have developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Doc says this can be caused by repeated hand movements (not a word Dice) such as the continued use of a mouse at a computer. Looks like I'm going cold turkey from this site for a few days to see if its the cause. This could be as hard as quitting smoking was. Hey boss, is there a patch out there that can help with the withdrawals?

Robin - this is not your personal playground. There are thousands of other members here too. Norm has a right to complain about the nonsense. You need to take a break. I am going to shut you and Rob10 down until tomorrow.

Get a TouchPad. They are much more ergonomically safe than a mouse.
Hi Robo - welcome back :)

I use a track ball with a wrist rest. Before, I got painful cramps up my wrist and into my forearm.

Stop playing with yourself or learn to use alternate hands.

I have found that it helps if you take your hand out for dinner and a movie first. :)
