HVAC Design Training

My National Guard unit has a need for a member to learn basic HVAC layout/design for small buildings. Just looking for a 1 to 2 week, hands on course, that we can send this person to. Carrier seemed to have exactly what we needed, but it's not available until next year. Can anyone recommend a course that would help us with our mission?

What state are you located out of?
I was part of the 1434 QM DET out of Bay City, MI. We disbanded in 2003-04and joined up with the Midland Trans unit. Have been out since 2005. Was a E-4 with the MOS of 77W.

My credentials are a BS Degree in HVACR Engineering.
14 years of field experience. (5 years install, 5 years service, and 4 years engineering design.
