As hard as it could be to comprehend, a hard working Farmer in Oklahoma under the current misAdministration will possibly be paying extra taxes to support a Government supported Berkley Liberal pay for her fifth abortion.

I guess this is what Obama means by "Spreading the Wealth".

The Liberals in California/Illinois/Michigan/NYC will never stop spending and their few taxpayers are refusing more taxes so the solution will be for Obama to collect taxes-from-Texas and send them to the bankrupt Blue states.

How long will the taxpayers go along with this, or will this create another "States-rights" crisis? The Civil War ended up with all the power centered in the Federal Government.

Could this become a critical issue again?

California voted down ALL of the tax increases yesterday. This will leave their budget with a huge deficit.

This means that Obama will take the Red State's taxes and use it to bail out California.

Rush Limbaugh just said the same thing today.

California has crippled themselves with their environmental regulations and anti-capitalistic tax structures.
They refuse to build nuclear power plants, drill off of their shores, are anti hydro-electric and I think I remember seeing something about them making the Mojave desert a federally protected territory, ruling out solar.

My question is:
Is California, the state that has initiated the most stringent environmental laws in the country expecting the other fuel producing states to supply them with oil, gas and electricity while at the same time expecting the fuel producing states to help bail them out of their deficit?

They have put themselves in the red by their over-regulation of business and industry, resulting in a loss of business and industry and as a result higher taxes to try to keep up with their social experiments.

California has always 'led the charge' on stringent environmentalism, bypassing federal laws, so it is only fair that productive states refuse to provide their fuel sources and bailouts.

Why is everybody talking about California, they are an entire state ran like ncy. A state of consumers, i have no idea what keeps it afloat except the old money.
I watched them take 2 years to build a library in Santa Maria. We would have had it done in a few months, the right way. Everything costs to much , the mexican food is outstanding and the woman are too.
Other than that there is the sad excuse for an ocean if your a freaking polar bear but when its not brown it is beautiful. Nice to be able to see 60 and 80 miles.
Its a pretty place with pretty people and thats about it.
Best thing that ever came out of Cali was my wife.

If you were California, still living in the Beach Boys/Haight Asbury era and everyone was willing to do everything for you/supply your power and pay welfare for everyone, why would you want to change and "get a real job" like the dummies who support you? They vote themselves a free living off of the rest of the red states in the national elections. There are many other Blue states/cities with the same attitude.
