Why, I ask why did Rheem jab those plastic tabs in the coils to hold those plastic sheets. They all end up leaking.... I might as well not even try to look for the leak on these things....

I'm mean it may be more work for us, But I dont look forward to digging out this AH on this job. I have to take a photo before we start. Its a nightmare to get at. I would jack the quote to maybe loose this job, but this owner has almost ten good homes in the area...... AHHHH!!!!

Pics of the plastic tabs??

Or the B!tch of an AH that had the house built around it??? I dont have any yet. Just found the leaks Friday, Going to leave it for now. We just impressed the property manager/ Home owner with all of our findings. The previous tech was a hack at best. Three units had pan switches pushed up so they wouldnt trip. Downstairs unit(leaky one) had drywall damage due to the switch pulled up. Top floor had bad AH control board... The whole house was just serviced three weeks ago from what I hear. They almost lost a full weeks rental...($7,000)...

So you are an expert on Rheem coils after finding one that leaked?

Yes (not sure what you're talking about). Which model coil is this?

What the hell kind of comment is that!?!

Please tell me this is not "one of those" forums that you all jump down everyones stuff... Dont tell me, your a dealer for them???

And yes, I do find many leaks on these. They all seem to leak where they are pushed in at the condensate coil. Plastic button tabs that keep the finger blocking plastic sheathing in line....

Straight forward question. Your comment is vague. As requested, please provide some pictures. There are many professionals here who have work with and on Rheem equipment, myself included. I don't understand what plastic you are talking about. Don't get excited slick, just give us some pictures. What is a condensate coil?

It can take a thick skin when you first start posting here.

For some, it takes a thick skin even after you have been posting here for years.

Your OP is very vague.
