evaporator fan motor catching fire?????

I am stumped on this. I have yet to come across this one. I jumped in to help a fellow co-worker out and he had already gone through 2 motors and replaced all components. All the wiring is correct in the air handler, correct capacitor, proper rotation and voltage yet the motor keeps burning out within 5 min. any help on this would be greatly appriciated. There is someone moving into the unit friday and i'm at a loss.

208v 3speed. we use the same type of motor in all our replacements and have never had this problem. the circuit breaker box in this unit was completely replaced, could that be a factor?

Well, obviously, SOMETHING is wrong. If everything was correct, then you wouldn't be having a problem.

To burn out that fast, somethign MAJOR has to be wrong.

Is it SIZED correctly? Large enough HP to spin the wheel? What amperage?
