Looking for opinions (good and bad) from anyone who has direct experience with the NTI Trinity Ti boilers with the domestic hot water option. I am considering this for my own home but I am unsure of the hot water performance. Thanks for any input.
Gota make some improvement to get that $1500 rebate this year!

I have installed about 15 of these units and they work well if installed correctly. If you want this unit for the combi feature, be aware that it has limits. NTI recommends a separate storage tank for high hot water demands. I always recommend saving the money and just get a standard trinity with a boiler mate tank on a separate zone. Also be aware there is a lot of piping needed to make this unit run correctly, primary and secondary loops, extra pumps(depending on the system), low water cut off, and then your zone piping. Make sure you have room for all of this. That is why I like a lot of the other wall hung boilers because they have most of this self contained. Do your homework a see what product will best fit your needs because every situation is different. Check NTI web site for all there specs and requirements.

i have worked on quite a few of these. not a big fan. when they run they are a good boiler. it's that centry control i dont like. i have to go look at a combi this week with domestic problems. i don't think it's the boiler as much as flow. i would do more research. my choice is the lochinvar knight. you may even want to look into a munchkin. whatever you decide make sure you can get parts locally.

Thanks for the reply. snupytcb would you follow up with your findings on the combi unit. I checked my cost for adding a storage tank and the price for the tank is more than I care to spend. I will keep looking at options. I take care of 6 of these (commercial buildings) and they have been trouble free all winter. I ran a combustion test to check the burner efficiency and at low fire the O2 was about 6.1 and at high fire 6.8... Real good numbers.
