I have a Trane Plus Air Handler that was installed in 1985 model # BWV024P100D2 serial # Y06351167 and it is leaking water. I looked at the side of it and there is a little tube sticking out from the base and this is where the water is coming from. It is a pretty steady flow, however slow, and I am getting water under my wood floors. I don't think that water should be coming from this tube, but why is it there anyway? Would this be a serious problem? It only leaks when the unit is running.

the primary drain is clogged that little tube is the overflow probably time for a spring check call for service. At 25 years old probably time for something more efficient

LOL, home owner... Stick to what you do, and don't touch what you don't understand
