I have 3 R2 JACEs with 24 LON controllers, 38 LON controllers and 19 LON controllers(mostly vav boxes) to convert to AX. All 3 JACEs are in different buildings and connected to the schools LAN. Started out thinking 1 NXS, then 3 extended memory 6's, now 1 extended memory 6 beacuse of the low number of controllers. What device(s) would I use to put the LON busses onto the LAN. Would I need anything other that the LON driver back at the JACE 6? Sysint, I don't mind a sales pitch here, cause I need a finite solution. Thanks. Mike

if I understand your setup correctly, then I would put the jace6 in one of the buildings and use its lon card, then I put one LON/IP router in each of the other 2 buildings and utilize the Jace's LON/IP driver.

For LON/IP routers, echelon, loytec, adept, all have them plus some other european guys.
I have no exprience with Jace's LON/IP driver but apparently they offer it now and works well.

From the number of LON controllers you say, a Jace 2 standard in each building would suffice - this would give you just about enough change to get a Small Building Supervisor (Web Super for a maximum of 3 Jaces) and do a really professional job.

School system already has a Web Supervisor.
