For a 2200 sq ft home with a single story, with heat loss of 46k BTU and cooling load of 30k BTU, I am going with a 2-stage furnace and a 3-ton coil with TXV. Will install condenser if required.

I would like to get a HRV for improving air quality, and optionally, a air cleaner, and a whole house fan.

Questions:

1. I already have panasonic exhaust fans at the bathrooms. Have not purchased an exhaust system for the kitchen yet. Can I get an HRV that will operate for the rest of the areas (excluding the bathroom)? Do I need a separate exhaust system for the kitchen hood?

2. I was recommended the Lifebreath HRV with TFP air cleaner. Do I need both HRV and TFP or just the HRV?

3. For zoning 3 zones, Honeywell EMM3 and MARD damper control system was recommended. Can I use the visionpro IAQ to control both the HVAC and HRV (since it has the dehumidifcation controls)? or do I need separate controls for HVAC and HRV?

Honeywells Evirozone panel will work much beter with the IAQ thermostats.
And will control the HRV also.

If I had to prioritize between a HRV, whole house fan, and air cleaner, based on ease of adding some of them after the sheet rocking, what would it be?

HRV, air cleaner, whole house fan.

Perfect. That is what I was thinking. Thanks.
