Has anyone seen the Carrier letter that says you can mismatch a new r410 c/u on a/c (not h/p) with a coil from 2005 on? (TXV required)
I have the letter.... but my question is do they still offer the condensing unit warranty. ?
Seems they are giving up the reccomendation to install an ahri rated matched coil just so they can sell a box.
By the way I'm not a homeowner, I'm a pro.
