I'm about to call my installer but...........
Brand new Amana compressor not coming on, house cooled from 77 to 75 and leveled off, usually cools down pretty fast. AH running, compressor not. Circuit brkr? Ideas of anyway to get it running tonight, warm down here in the south

Some of the new Amanas have the Comfort Alert module which shuts them down in case of a problem. Could try turning off the service switch on the side of the furnace and back on again to see if that resets it. If there is a problem, it will shut down again and you'll need the tech to check things out. Could be a power fluctuation caused a nuisance lockout. Beyond that & circuit breaker, come north!

Do not take this wrong, but short of some one shutting off a circuit breaker-you turn it back on, the thermostate being bumped into, you should call a professional for two reasons: your safety and to properly diagnosis and fix the problem.
there can be many reasons from a weed eater/ animal wire damage up to and including amajor component failure. point is get a pro to fix it, we take pride in our work and customer satisfaction, and we have the experience to do it safely and do it right,
thankyou,

1) called the installer and left a message
2) flipped circuit brkr
3) flipped power switch on outside wall for compressor
did the trick
Yes I gonna have my installer look farther into this issue
