The customer put the sump pump in a 5 gal. bucket. Not enough room for float to move up and down. I just replaced the HE and installed a power venter last friday. Now it needs a control board and blower motor. Rental property too.

Did Dino knock you over like he does Fred when he gets home?
Looks like you were working in a cave. Was osama down there handing you your tools?

What was the water from?
Is that a power cord going over the damper?
Guess the landlord didn't want the renter to touch the suppy pipe!?!
And where's the return!?

Just places we go around here to work. Turned power off at switch on furnace and got the pump running before I took this pic. Was rite at the switch when I got there. Three roads closed on the way due to flooding, took almost 1.5hrs. to get there. Normal 20 min. drive.

it won't hurt the cord. Had to hang pump to keep it out of mud till I could find the 5 gal. bucket and dip the mud out of it. My boots got muddy too.
Was that mold or sewage in the water???

I really haven't measured. The heat exchanger came out through it in one piece when I changed it though.
