Hopefully one of you can help us out here.
I have a job site with 30 of our ABB drives with ACH550 E-Bypasses, and a second site with 2 of our ABB ACH550 drives with E-Clipse Bypasses.
The contractors equipment is an FX60 (Jace6, at Niagara ver 3.3.22)
On both sites the Contractor is using Niagara AX and polling the drives with the default, ReadPropertyMultiple. The problem is our drives only accept ReadProperty. They are sending multiple messages with RPM before it switches to ReadProperty, but it is taking a long time to switch, bringing the busy times to very high levels slowing the bus down to a crawl or even knocking them off line.
How do they change the system to only poll with ReadProperty to the drives? They can't find it in their software. I know the drive side, but am no help with their Niagara system, as I have never worked with it before.
If anyone knows how to make the switch please let me know ASAP. The GC is leaning on my customer very hard. These are one of my best customers and we have been doing serial com with hundreds of drives using N2 for nearly 8 years with them. They just made the switch to BACnet and the growing pains are really starting to hurt!
Thanks,
-Dave
