Apogee and double Integer

I am dealing with trying to get apogee to read a double integer from a Field Server panel that is supplying data from several Cleaver Brooks boilers. The Field Server takes date from AB plc's in the Hawk controller and converts it to modbus sent to a Field Panel via a FLN. There is two 16 bit integer registers that would have to be logically and'ed together but Cleaver made a double integer register to deal with it. This is done because of Modbus's problem dealing with large floating point numbers. If anyone has dealt with this successfully please reply.
