I have a York MaxE Centrifugal Liquid Chiller(YK style F) with Microboard #031-02430-001 Rev. E. I'm suspecting that I possible have a bad microboard on this unit as it losses COMM. I have tried a Microgateway and E-link with no change in results. I have eleminated the possiblity of other devices causing the MS/TP trunk to lose communication to the other devices. Now I have to somehow justify a change in the microboard with more solid evidence that the microboard is bad. The York Tech. was not aware of the testing on the microboard but i found that it is possible to test the COMM's from the microboard and other test in the microboard which could possibly led me to more solid evidence. Has anyone ever found this useful?? What would be the way to test the microboard? I have found no literature on how to do this.
