Good-day,
I have a FEC 2620 (with display) that says on it "Instances Deletes". I can't do any uploading or downloading to the FEC.
Our CCT is at version 4.00 and the FEC is at version 4.1. We don't have Bluetooth only the SCT to upload and download to the controller.
There must be a way to reset the FEC and force the boot and main code into this to correct this.
I've had no luck looking for any type of information on this.
Thanks for any suggestions and help

Hello,
Is there any documenation on how to do this?? When I try and connect the only option it will allow me is to upload the FEC. It tries and fails due to the Instances Deleted on the display..
Thanks

A) Open the file you wish to download in CCT.
B) In Define Hardware, set the controller address to match the address on the DIP switch, and set the Instance Number (BACnet ID) to make it unique to the site, save, and download the controller.
C) When you get to the Load Summary Screen, before selecting the final Finish button, observe the version of Boot and Main codes, and the Status, then Finish to complete the download.

Save yourself the hassle and get bluetooth. That is how it is supposed to be done. 4.0 and 4.1 are different revisions. 4.1 being the newest. You can go forward or backward simply by loading thru the bluetooth with the corresponding program. EX: FEC @ version 4.1 You open up 4.0 and load file from 4.0 to FEC. This will install Boot, Main and Aplication @ 4.0 to FEC..
I know I skipped the define hardware part but this was already mentioned. Hope this helps.
