Now that's impressive. Shouldn't there be aluminum inside that coil? :D
Is this what you bring to all estimate calls?

Do you have a generator for that? Really impresive , i was an american Standard dealer for a few years so i know theres some cash sitting there , plus the wrap and trailer , very nice.
Did you build this yourself?

I have two batteries and a large converter running the furnaces, let me tell you it was alot of fun trying to hook up a variable speed furnace thru "dirty" sine wave. It was doing all kind of goofy things.
I did this on a shoe string budget, bought the trailer off Craigslist, did all the work myself.. there`s hours of polishing the stainless trailer alone.
I`ve done a few estimates with it already and I plan to bring this to as many estimates as I can.. it blows people away and I hope it will be a good marketing tool.
I do have to plan ahead thou .. make sure I can get out of a subdivision, with my extended van and this 25' trailer it`s quite a caravan:)

Awesome! Nice. I don't think you can underestimate the value of a first hand look or demonstration.
Now, can you put in a kitchen table and chairs to write up that proposal?
By the way, York offers a similar setup (aimed mostly at the distributors for events) to showcase the Affinity line in a dinky little trailer for a ton of money without the equipment or power.
I think you did very well.

When I turn on a regular single stage furnace blower and then compare it to a Variable Speed one.. it`s pretty priceless:)
That table idea has been going thru my head too..

Now thats what you call thinking " Outside of the Box " I'm always thinking of creative ideas and this I haven't thought of.
Imagine in the nice spring/summer days 70's parking this and have a sign up Free soda and hot dogs, out of hunger and free food who wouldn't stop by and who could not resist walking inside ?
You could pull in 100 people and possibly hook at least 2-5 customers for a quote and close on 2-3 and have a customer for life and then let the snow ball effect roll on.......
Just an Awesome idea !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dracorp; Rubbing Compound is the only thing that would take the oxidation off.
JAH: This will always be pulled behind my van that has all the phone numbers, there will be more contact info on tthe back too for sure.
Awesome: I already have it booked for a local Speed Shop open house :)

Thats very impressive Not Only the display but the thought, creativity, and Ingenuity that went into it you stated your wife feels 7' tall.... no wonder pretty smart thinking also putting her picture on it making her feel a part of everything so she doesn't hate the busiest of season time and not to mention the lifetime supply of "Brownie Points"... I sy again veryimpressive

Hey, did ya hear! American Standard just revamped their entire line. It looks completely different:D
What can I say? It looks great. I would have promoted R410a a bit by having the lady holding up a couple of pink jugs, but that's just me:p

The only issue you could have is that the equipment isn't rated for installation in an RV. But I don't know what exceptions are made for demonstration purposes. Just wondering if you might have insurance issues if there was a fire.
You might want to have a button to remotely kill the gas flow...or mount the propane tank outside the trailer. You might be able ot get a solinoid tied to a smoke detector and/or have the solinoid from the tank only open if there is power to the furnace... then have an e-stop button or disconenct mounted outside the trailer to kill all power. Just a thought. Always best to be prepared for the worst case. Love the set-up though.

Looks good to me. Do you have them systems bolted down? I know when I hit some of them hilly roads, I can hear a few things shifting around in back.
Are you guys keeping busy?

I could turn that thing upside down and nothing would move.. it`s in there good:)
We`re slow man.. even appliance repair which is what usually gets us thru the slow times. I`m already getting calls for a/c stuff thou, so hopefully soon things will pick up.
How about you guys?

January/February was busy, lately it's been crawling slow though. We're usually doing new construction of some sort... either commercial or resi during the slow period...it's been bad.

Great idea.... Excellent concept... I would think you would win more bids.... it just promotes more confidence in the customer seeing the equipment at hand.
They will think...someone who went throught all this trouble...will do the same to install my system right :)
