Siemens Hyper Terminal Navigation

Hooked up to an Apogee MEC all I get is a scrolling. It looks like it is self testing or just looking at all its devices continually. Have not been able to get out of this mode. Any suggestions?

Someone left that port in "Point Monitor" mode.

Press Shift+3, the # symbol will stop the point monitor and take you back to the main menu.

I have always found it interesting that the key strokes for starting the monitor on a Pre-Apogee panel is PMS. And I have always found satisfaction in the fact the you can cancel PMS simply by pressing the # sign. Now wouldn’t be nice if the # sign canceled all cases of PMS.......
