Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock
(MADE IN JAPAN) for 6 A.M. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans(MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today.

After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day, Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL) poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and
turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in.....AMERICA.....

WOW you really did your Research on where products are made. I would like to add that many of the "WHITE-COLLAR" americans that I know are guilty of that.I have a Snooty-***** sister-inlaw who ass is too delicate to be riding in an american vehicle she must drive a lexus, my other snooty-***** sister-inlaw drives a audi, and the third snooty sister-inlaw drives a volkswagon. All 3 of them are traitors to their country in my HUMBLE OPPINION oh by the way all 3 of them are LIBERALS

First, I didn't do any research - someone else e-mailed that little essay to me.

Second, I'm not sure how to take your "white collar" comment. I am a "white collar" employee (although to day it's actually striped blue) and I try to buy American-made products whenever I can. But I must admit - it's getting harder and harder to find a truly 100% American made product these days. For instance, I work for GM. We make "American" cars. But more and more we make them in Canada and Mexico. Go figure.

Third - what the hell has that third sister-in-law got to be snooty about driving around in a VW?? Lexus and Audi - I can see where you're coming from there. But a VW???? She's gotta be kidding.
