I've got a customer that wants web access with his Barber Coleman system. He currently has a GCM but wants to get rid of it and keep the field controllers. Does AX have a driver that will talk directly to Microzones and Microflo controllers? Thank you in advance.

Yes - There is an ASD driver for Ax & R2 but unless they have changed things you have to purchase through a TAC rep on a TAC UNC.

That's what I thought. The local rep sent this guy a letter saying they would no longer support the GCM and gave him a huge price to upgrade. That's when he called us. Thank you for your reply.

Controlco (Tridium Distributor & Developer) on the West Coast has a company called CSI cubed that has a driver. http://www.controlco.com/

If you want, send me your email info outside of the forum and I will get you specifics. They can also send you a JAR file with a 2 week timeout for you to test and demo.

BTW - I have not personally tried the driver, but I have heard that it works.

The CSI3 GCM driver connects to GCMs or LCMs, you can't rip them out. It's a text based driver, it integrates with the VT100 HMI. It is not a speed demon.

The timeout is two hours. Restart the station and it'll work another two hours. It is safe to build a database in demo mode.
