You must have missed the special edition show a few years back, "Inside Katy Couric."
She decided to have one on TV to encourage people to get one. They carefully edited the tape to show only the video AFTER the insertion, and none of the "approach." Still, I thought to myself, "heck, she's asleep, how hard can this be?" so I had one a year later and they found three polyps that could have turned bad if left to their own designs. I woke up without the polyps and with a BIG appetite. Went out and had breakfast.
I heard about that one. Didnt see it though. Saw one from Dr. Oz. Have a neighbor around the corner a piece.... had one... he got flown up to Norfolk cause he kept bleeding. got several pints of blood..... fixed him up the next day.

Well, pretty good I guess. One suspect basil cell, they shaved it and froze 2 other tiny red areas. He said no biggie at all, don't lose any sleep over it and no need to be checked again for 6 months, I was going in every 3.
But no more suspect melanoma, and thats the important thing.
Thanks.

eh.... same ol same ol..... another $1.98 an hr. Worked into dark tonight... (like last night.) Had to get rid of an EMI condensate pump on two units. DId one last night did the other today. Had to drill through cinder blocks on the Pool house wall. Waited for over an hr for them to bring me a LONG masonary bit for the pilot hole. But i think I did a good job.

Yeah my milwaukee rechargeable drill is a hammer drill. It worked good.... but the pilot bit was way to short. Dont know what they werer thinking. Then they brought me one long enough... but it was like 1 1/8 in bit. Didnt need to bust the block up... so waited till they got me a smaller but longer bit.

20% off right now.
I bought the 1200s which are middle of the road model. Same one that Doug built for Yellow Jacket.
The 1250s are the 'bells and whistles' model and they were going about $150 more than the 1200s.
Also the 1200s are upgradable to the 1250 with a kit if I decide down the road that I want the extra gadgets.

It is really nothing that specific, For whatever reason, the customers I call on are very loyal to me.
For reasons beyond my control, I've had to change employers several times these past years. Every time I made a move, I never had to call into the office for something to do. I keep myself as busy as I want to be.
I just figured it's about time to keep what I have. I plan to keep on working on chillers, controls and everything in between.

Well just got back from a call up in 4x4 country. Call was upstairs hp not working. Got there and it works..... but the fan motor is making a hellacious whirring sound. Cap is good. (albeit a bit rusted....) and the fan motor name plate says .5 amp fla. Equip name plate says .6 fla. And motor is actually pulling .49 amps.
Well told him its working but he needs a new fan motor. Probably the sleeve bearings going bad. DIdnt have a 1/15 hp motor. Think the smallest I could do was a 1/5 trip saver. SO we will order him one. Talked him into a maint agreement. took 1hr 27 min to get there. picked up a conch shell sack on the way.... its heavy... my wife will love it!

They are talking about December 1st.
We had been scheduled to do a HX on an only Lennox Epic series RTU yesterday, but we had to scrap that idea because it would take more than just me to haul the thing onto a roof with no knee wall 30 feet in the air.
He can't put weight on a ladder rung because he does not have enough strength in the ankle to prevent the foot from tilting forward and back.

A little bit of a pain in the ass, but gotter done in a little less than 6hrs. Still has a little bit of a vibration. I think I am calling carrier on Monday to get their input as to why. Dont have the model number handy. Blower motor was replaced a month ago by another tech, should have corrected things at that time. Pulleys were worn out and contactor pitted, plus vibration, all of which I found on a heating start up/ inspection.:eek2:

I didn't need them, the "service tech" that installed the new motor last summer didn't tighten the set screw so it came loose and spun on the shaft. I had to pull the motor and file the shaft down and he was good to go.

I'd then take off the belts and see if the motor is vibrating. I mean, unless a balancing tab was knocked off a blower wheel after it was balanced at the factory, what else is left?

Hey TB
Goin to the mall, eh? Hey, that's a step forward!!
As for me, I spent the day making an unexpected car repair. The PS pump in my park ave came apart inside. The shaft and pulley walked out a half inch or so, and I had no power in the steering to go to church.
Now I remember why I don't do that for money these days. I sure am glad I kept the pulley remover and installer tools, though.

I had a couple of weird things on my stomach a few years back. After my own doc cut twice (second time because the lab said he should) he sent me to a dermatologist for the third act, and he cut some more under anesthesia and made a scar that was over four inches long. Next time, I'll have him suck this fat out while he's at it.
Glad you're ok!

I'm seeing the same thing around here.
We are steady. Not busy, but all our guys pull 40 and maybe just a little OT.
Of course, we pruned the deadwood from the company about a year ago.
I talk to guys who are just happy to be working and I'm happy to NOT be pulling 10-20 hours OT every week this year.
Well, it's a two-edged sword. Sometimes, the extra cash would be nice, but the extra time I'm getting with my family is priceless.

Yeah, but next year is going to be just that much better. One of the REALLY BIG contractors here filed chapter 11 bankruptsy, then cut hours on everyone, then couldn't even make payroll. I guess they have a couple million in accounts recievable, but not everybody was paying.

Had a heck of a day with LP systems. Got sent out to check the pins and gas pressure on an LP trane furnace. Did it... verified low and high fire. Left... went to work on a boiler down fir a week due to a bad recirc pump. Did the pump last night. COuldnt get the boiler to stay lighted.... (notice I said lighted and not lit!?!?! ) anyhoot.... in the middle.... got called to run back to the furnace job.... they smelled propane. They shut the cutoff valve inside the building. (I just knew I hadnt screwed anything up) ,,,, broke out the soap bubbles... no leaks on any connections the guys did. Saw some rust on existing pipe.... VIOLA! Originally someone had put pvc over the pie... and around those edges.,... there was rust.... and a leak. Boss was coming with parts.... took it all apart..... had to beat the old pipe through the wall due to the swelling of the rust. That piece fell to the floor and knocked the rust off. Underneath was a hole about 1/4 inch around!!! LOL... Like they had saved the building? NOT. Damn glad I found that leak, woulda been a lot warmer in DUCK today if that building went up

Yes.
I have to give her credit, when she got home and saw the note, she ran to the PO to try to pick them up. She signed the paper and made arrangements for the mailman to deliver them with either the neighbor or in a certain place at the house.
Unfortunately, I will be over 100 miles away from home tomorrow and am looking at a long holiday weekend to sit on them and not be able to put them to use.
Oh well. The saving paid off. They are here and I will have them to start next week out with.

Hey JP...... hows it hangin?
After 14 hours and 250 miles, my head is hanging almost to the keyboard.
The little blinking light says battery is going to die soon.
The woman that lives here too is yapping about a dozen other things that I have to do before I'm allowed to go to bed.
Night, gang.

Hell hes barely working..... he gets about 3-4 nights a week (4 - 6 hrs a night) at what....less than 10 an hr. Hes was to lazy to learn real work. Just wanted to do the easy stuff wash dishes bus tables and make pizza. Now when he wants to make more money... of course the market is sour! He use to be a go getter when he was younger and all he could do was work in a restaurant. Now its all surfing and partying etc. (we have kicked him out twice) So far he is abiding by the house rules.
