I have a stand alone NAE that was ver 3.1, recently got upgraded to ver 4.1. The dst is enabled. When I browse the NAE focus window it shows the correct local time, when i hover over the site name and right click "command" the time also shows up correctly and all schedules are turning equipment on and off at the correct times. However, at the bottom right hand side the time is 1 hour ahead. Not affecting the system, but a bit of a nuissance. I've compared the time settings for this NAE with NAEs that do not have this problem and cannot find any differences. I've also tried re-downloading the NAE database, but to no avail. Anyone ever seen this?

I bet your trends and alarm reporting are one hour off as well.

This is correct, any known solutions? Besides ripping out the NAE :)

Not that I know of. but 2.2 was going to fix it if I remember right. :D

BTW...C-4 is a good alternative to ripping!

What does the Time Zone say at the bottom? Sometimes they hang up when you they haven't been archived lately. You might try and acrive the NAE and then either resetting it or setting the time. Setting the time I believe is a right click on the site, commands and set time. It should set the time to whatever is on the computer that you are using.

It says: "Server: 3/11/2009 8:30AM EDT"

I tried Archiving and resetting the NAE... time is still off. Figured a download would be just as affective. I have a feeling it's going to have to be wiped out and re-imaged. I didn't have this problem when it was at 3.1, go figure!

A patch was just released for NAE55's, NIE55's & NIE59's to correct an issue with DST.

What Revisons is it for? All or just 4.X, is it a nut fix? and whats the policy on getting it into the hands of people who have already thrown JCI (as a service provider)to the curb?

Sounds like what I need. The NAE is an NAE55.

Good questions. I think I'm going to let the contractors deal with this one. We havn't payed them yet.

Just a quick note. We originally hired a Johnson Controls contractor to do this job because all of our NAEs were at rev 2.0. and 3.1. I had SCT 3.1 and was under the understanding that I could not upload an NAE at rev 2.0. They had trouble getting their copy of 2.0 to work so they phoned tech support. Tech support told them to upload 2.0 with 3.1 and it worked. I had no idea that this could be done...
