My 16 year old daughter has been taking art lessons for a while and she just finished putting together her web site. Take a look! Nicki's Gallery (http://www.nsleeth.com)
Be sure to see "Christina's World" under oil paintings and her most recent "A River and Trees" under Pen & Ink.
The girl obviously has great genes! :D

Don
That is great, very impressive. I also have a 16 year old daughter artist and have been trying to get her to learn how to develop a site of her own. I am going to have her take a look at this one.

She has a great and rare talent.
I assume she takes after her mother:)

A very talented young woman.
She is female....so the harassment by Robotek should start any minute.

And you say she also has a nice pair of jeans too. She got it all. Why doesn't she like New Jersey? Nevermind, I think I know why.
Wolf is right, keep RoboCop away from her somehow, he has serious issues.

This was very impressive work, I send a heart felt greeting to the artist. There is a future in this country and this young lady stands for what we all wish for.
Thanks . Aircooled

Don,
What are we in? A new Renaissance?
Just yesterday on Texas Country Reporter, there was
a report about a 12 year girl in Southlake, Texas that
is already an accomplished painter.
Then to see your daughter's fantastic work.
The new Renaissance is being led by the girls.
HVAC-Talkers will be wanting Nicki to be designing
logos and headers for their websites before too long.

I don't recall seeing this when it was first posted, but I just spent about an hour looking at this art. VERY good.
And I figgered I would post a reply so others who haven't seen it can. I hope you don't mind.

My one and only daughter went into graphic design. One of her projects was to design the letering for the New York State license plates. I always kid her by saying, "My daughter makes license plates."
Don how come your talented daughter hasn't yet done a portrait of "Dear Old Dad?"

Your daughter is obviously very talented, and has a great future in Art if she so chooses. I especially liked "At night". I don't pretend to know much about art, but I'd have to say her work reminds me also of the Impressionsists.
BRAVO!

I can make just about anything operate properly and can diagnose most functional problems but I am in awe over people that have that kind of artistic talent.
I couldn't make a stick figure recognizable if my life depended on it so that kind of talent is akin to being magic to me.

Step Dad's an artist I've been to an art show or two. It looks like she has great potential. Many artists are not at this stage later in life at her young age she is doing very well. Good luck!

Don, congrats ! your daughter is very talented, not many artistic skills also good at web authoring/programming. You should have asked for her help making this site "beautiful". Well, maintaining such a site task is daunting. Maybe she can give some suggestions to the new owner :)

I am glad you have passion for different things. I wish i had your ability to convey onto canvas my thoughts. Keep it up you will never regret art work!
Nice stuff!!!
The Mooneys Bay picture is perfect, I used to go there when I was a kid, but now only for the HOPE tournament about every second year.
