Here is question for the ALC guys.

We have an U342v VAV controller from a site. Was communicating fine at the site, actuator was bad, replaced the controller with a Siemens VAV. Everything at the site worked fine, front end found the new module.

Back at the shop fire up the VAV controller, and cannot get it to talk. Module is connected directly to a cimetrics B6000 IP router. Does the U342v require a UNI to talk MS/TP Bacnet?

You will need an UNI16/32 to talk the U-line. All programming resides at the UNI level.

That's what I was thinking the issue was...

Thanks.

That is correct, the U341V+ is basically a slave to the UNI. When you are connected to the U Net connector, you are trying to talk thru the subnet connector, that module does not have a CM net connector, it resides on the UNI.
