I wanted to pick up a magazine to take on a plane. I went into the mag. store, and when I saw this cover, I got so nauseated, I just walked out of the store. Bad deal for all of us! Get ready to give 1/2 your business to give the poor brand new cars. The land of the free will have to be removed from the beginning of football games.

I have spent 25 years of my life in communist Czechoslovakia. What is happening now in the US, I have seen it all before, and it was not a pretty picture. But I tell you one thing, like it or not: People have the government thy deserve!

Don't be such a drama queen.:D
This country got in debt during the Reagan years and never recovered, only one who got us close to being solvent was Clinton.
After Hoover got us in a depression, by allowing a very few to control all the wealth in this country.............sound familiar..............
Anyway, Roosevelt got us out with the New Deal. A socialistic type program which pulled us from the depths of despair.
All Obama wants to create is jobs and God knows we need them.
His approval rating is very high and whatever he does sure can't be as bad as the last guy, who basically did nothing worth doing.
The repub party is out of kilter with reality right now.
Ya know the big new tax increase on peoople making over $250K?
Seems if you make $10K over the $250K it will cost you like $300 more?
Wow, big deal, they spend that on dinner.:D
Quit listening to idiots like Limberger, he is an fat old grouch who misses his Oxycontin................and his Viagra, not that anyone would want to sleep with the lard ass.....maybe if he paid them. :D

Here is how bad the repub party is doing right now.
That gov of La., the Indian geeky guy, they trotted him out for a response after Obama brought down the house in congress the other night.
I almost felt sorry for the little guy, it was like he was talking to kiddies, it was really a new low for a once respectable party. Sad.
I did like Reagan a little bit and old man Bush was OK.
But lately its pathetic, mainly run by religious nutcases with an ax to grind, evangelical hypocrites.
And most of em turn out to be gay, not that there is anything wrong with that. :D

:D

you'd think that, but it sure seems like he's trying.

And i get a double dose here. the (NJ) governor here was an economic spokesman for Obama when he was campaigning. (NJ is about $$40,000,000,000.00 in debt) And we have the highest property taxes in the U.S.

Ya, it's ridiculous to think that taking a little more from the rich will ruin this country.

Sometimes it takes a sacrifice from 5% to save 100%. The rich will do just fine with this concept, oh, and god forbid you might help those less fortunate.

I'm not talking about people on welfare. I'm talking about those who are laid off and have no where else to turn.

I care about people and I would do whatever it takes to help those in need, as long as it isn't in vain.

I am non-religious and I feel this way. I care about others. Religion does not make you care more.........honestly, I think it makes you care less from what I have seen.

Wait and see, I got invited to a speakers luncheon last week, never seen
so many dark suits. They talked about the US, and other contries, and
what Obama was planning to do, which has just come out.

There is much more to it that taxing those that make $250k+. Itemized
deductions will be reduced, new taxes, fees, assessments, so on.

I am not going into it here, but in 8 months, you will see I told you so.
It will be bad, and affect many.

Yeah, the end is not is sight yet but to sit there and do nothing like Bush did is not the answer.
Even Bush got the hint late in his term and tried to help.

This country got in debt during the Reagan years and never recovered, only one who got us close to being solvent was Clinton.
Clinton had the benefit of not dealing with Russia, thanks to Reagan.
After Hoover got us in a depression, by allowing a very few to control all the wealth in this country.............sound familiar…: eek:
Anyway, Roosevelt got us out with the New Deal. A socialistic type program, which pulled us from despair.

The Second World War was the biggest reason the depression ended. Historians say that the New Deal actually may have prolonged it.
All Obama wants to create is jobs and God knows we need them.

That's why they have a provision that the states that accept the money have to increase there welfare systems ... that will add to the work force
His approval rating is very high and whatever he does sure can't be as bad as the last guy, who basically did nothing worth doing.
His approval rating has been dropping weekly and as more people realize what he is up to it will drop like a rock
The repub party is out of kilter with reality right now.
Finally you got one right

Ya know the big new tax increase on peoople making over $250K?
Seems if you make $10K over the $250K it will cost you like $300 more?
Wow, big deal, they spend that on dinner.:D

What difference does it make what the amount is, the government will piss away the money, Why punish people for doing well, as a businessperson you should realize how hard it is to "earn" that money. Only to have the government give it to supposed less fortunate, who never bothered to get an education, never bothered to work hard to advance, why should they the messiah will "give" them plenty of money... our money.
Quit listening to idiots like Limberger, he is an fat old grouch who misses his Oxycontin................and his Viagra, not that anyone would want to sleep with the lard ass.....maybe if he paid them. :D
Calling people names, it's a lot easier then having a logical debate, I have never heard his radio show and I think he is a jerk for some of the things he has done. Still it is the way things are done now call them names, character assassination sure beats having to think and debate. You know that for a nice guy you say some goofy stuff

OK, I don't like talking politic here and try to avoid doing so. There were to many things that you posted here and in the past along the same line that make me wonder about you ... no that's wrong ... they make me worry about you ... :D

It's a waste of time to get into here. I was just fishing to see if even Dice and other libs could possibly support all the lies and deceit of this new president. Now I feel their rage over the last 8 years. We live in totally seperate worlds, with completely different mindsets on what the Govt. should do for people. This entire problem was caused by the libs trying to get more people to own homes who couldnt qualify for a real loan, so they changed the way loans were made, and those people who couldnt afford homes, lost them which crippled the banking industry and burst the housing bubble. This didnt happen over 4 years, or on anybodys watch. It started with Jimmy Carter and took till now to explode. I wish the country could just split. I want a divorce.

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists, Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950's, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile; slate it up to irreconcilable differences, and go on our own ways.

Here is a model dissolution agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement.

After that it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes. We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to liberal judges and the ACLU.

Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA, and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, and Rosie O'Donnell (you are however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move them).

We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart, and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies, and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan Hockey Moms, greedy CEO's, and Rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

You can make nice with Iran , Palestine , and France , and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protestors. When our allies or way of life are under assault, we'll provide them job security.

We'll keep our Judeo-Christian Values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, and Shirley McClain. You can have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill. We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru Station Wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare, (if you can find any practicing Doctors) and Howard Dean, who will follow you to your turf.
We'll continue to believe healthcare is an amazing privilege and not a right.

We'll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem. I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute; Imagine, I'd Like to Teach The World To Sing, KumBaYa, or We Are the World.

We'll practice "trickle down" economics, and you can give "trickle up" poverty its best shot.

Since it so often offends you, we will keep our History, our Name, and our Flag.

Would you agree to this?

In the spirit of friendly parting, I will bet you ANWAR on who will need whose help in 15 years.

Ps. Please take Barbara Streisand and Jane Fonda too!

Spotts,
wonderful idea, I second the motion.
Question,
since owl gored invented the internet, will we have to pay him royalties to use it?
and they must also take benny aflack and the dixie tramps with then
plus costner and sarrandon (never liked their movies anyway)
We will keep Ted nugent but he has to move to his Texas home and have a round the clock watch on him cause some of his ideas are out there. but we will never want for venison with him around.

I'm moving to that country.

Earn your own way, pay your own way or get out of my way.

Ever notice that MOST successful people are conservatives?

Hmm.

I doubt that the money made them conservative, I'd be more willing to bet that a strong work ethic, a good idea and many, many 20 hour days got them there.

This is why most conservatives appear to have no compassion for people. If they have worked hard and succeeded, there is absolutely no reason that any other person cannot do exactly the same thing.

Obama and the other big government liberals need to get the h**l out of the way and let America's economy roll again, rather than obstructing it with yet more taxation and regulation.

THAT will create jobs and turn the economy around. Higher taxes and redistribution of wealth will not.
