Hopefully you Jci Guys can help me out.
Today I uploaded the controller info (DX9100) using GX9100.
I then tagged all the AI,AO,DI's,DO's
I then renamed the .DXS file to a .DMO file
I then converted the .DMO to a DLL
Thats as far I got>
[I] could not open the DLL file with DX9100 commisioning tool or HVACPRO
When I tried I got an error stating the template did not match the device.
I could use some professional guidence
Thank you

Use the DMO file with DX9100 commissioning tool. Hvacpro is not for DX9100.

Use the DMO file with DX9100 commissioning tool. Hvacpro is not for DX9100.

I was desperate and was willing to try anything(amAture I know)
It seems when opening the the dll via dx comissioning tool that the DLL is corrupt.
What I mean to say is once you select the file, normally the points appear in the window.
That does not happen.
I know Im effing something, just not sure.
I'm reading the help files for the gx and the dx commisioning tool right now.
I also down loaded the users guides off johnson's website.
Alot to read by tomorrow.
The Goal is to see whats going on real time

Actually you can commission a DX-9100 with HVACPRO.

After you created a DMO file.
Open the DMO file in Wordpad.
Get rid of all the points/modules that you won't be using and save it.
Open HVACPRO and at the bottom, there is a drop down arrow.
Change CFG to DMO.
Then go to open and select your dmo file.
Then go and select action , commission current config.
It should work.

By the way what GX version do you have and
what HVACPRO version do you have?

open the .DXS file w/ GX9100
on Flle meno, select DDL File Options
place check in - Generate DDL On File Save
click ok
click save
this should create your .DMO file which is then opened w/ Commisioning tool

Use the file option to generate the ddl on file save. This will create your .dmo file. (It also creates a .dnc file, but you use the .dmo file for commissioning.) If your .dmo file contains too many points for the commissioning program it will lop off the points at the end. I usually then edit the .dmo file with a text editor to delete unnecessary points. I rename the file ending with a "c" so I know that is my commissioning file.

Toptech,
I copy the *.dmo (after following the ddl on save instructions on PP) file then rename IT (the copy of the *.dmo) to *.ddl. Once done edit the *.ddl file and use it in DX-Commissioning. That way if you find you are missing a necessary point in the DX template (*.ddl file) you can open notepad twice and copy from the *.dmo to the *.ddl file and still have the *.dmo unchanged.

For future reference the *.dxs file is ONLY useable in GX-9100 so just leave it alone (don't rename it).

Also, if you can teach yourself DX-9100 from that manual you are a better man than I ! I honestly believe that is JCI's worst manual.....ever !

Good Luck, you're gonna need it !!!!!!
