Anyone know where to get one of these? My father had one but can't find it and I'd like to get one.

True, the last one I fixed I used a piece of steel ground to fit.
It will work I'd just like something less cheesy.:D

Could this be the same as the tool we are looking for??

Looks about right, but it's a lousy picture. Maybe a copeland distributor could look the P/N up and find out if it works on Copeland HVAC compressors as well??

Yup, that looks like what I'm looking for. Thanks!
That is a pretty interesting site, I wonder what makes the Copelamatics they have different from something I would replace on a walk in?

Dentists use them as air compressors. Mostly in pairs.

I was at the food court in the mall and needed to tighten an oil sight glass that was leaking. I thought "Sears"! They have all kinds of sockets and automotive tools. After a half hour of searching, I found nothing designed to work on that ring. As a last resort, I bought a 1 inch flat wood bit and broke the tip off it. I turned it with a crescent wrench. The sharp edges gripped really well and I was able to tighten it enough to stop leaking. I still have the bit in my tool box!

The dental units are designed to keep oil from leaving the unit.

Interesting. I wonder how do they do that? Ever have one apart or have a good link to a white paper? Do they use the standard oil systems? Do the air compressor Copeland units have an oil separator on the discharge?
Also how do they keep them cool?
