As of Feb.10th the new "no lead law" goes into effect. This could potentially but another 100.000 people on unemployment:
remember, don't let your kids lick the paint off there Honda dirt bike or ATV. it may give them Dain bramage.

I just love that last paragraph. If President Obama and Congress had any decency, they'd stop behaving like a bunch of Fascist bullies who don't seem to give a damn about anything but their agendas to repay all of the ultra liberal and Socialist oriented organizations, some bordering on the criminal, for their support in getting so many Socialist minded Democrats in power.
It's more likely that the lawyers who will benefit from this bill are also associates of the new regime.

What do these people use for brains?
Anyone with common sense would not try to regulate used items. Impossible.
These numbskulls can't(or won't) even properly regulate our food(see peanut stories re Georgia),much less every antique store.
New Items, I agree with the ban-lead should not be used in items that could reasonably be used by kids.
They banned it in gas and paint back in the
70's, wonder why they waited till now for the stuff kids would put in their mouths?

I talked to a couple of Honda Dealers (my wife use to work for a power sports 'store') and they said they must physical pull there 50, 70 100cc dirt bikes and all there ATV's from the show room floor and put them in storage till this gets sorted out.
The funny part is they made this law retroactive? so if you have or are selling Historic Tin Solders (most of which are over 100 years old), you must stop selling them or you may be charged with a criminal act:mad:

I used to crimp those lead weights on the line WITH MY TEETH!!!!!
I wonder if I can get some $$$ for the Honda ATV I bought my son last summer?? :D
Seriously, I thought that the declining economy, healthcare reform, getting troops out of Iraq and pushing the socialist bailout through were the highest priorities of the Obama administration.
Yet, this is what we get, a ban on lead.

Why can't this be a "pick and choose" law, like our immigration laws?
