Of course i'm leaning towards the YJ 68802 but I would appreciate input for an all around scale that's not only accurate for small refrigeration systems but also small commercial systems (less than 25 tons).

I prefer the Yellow Jacket 68803 because its programable. If you don't want the programable feature stick with the 68802

i believe you can hook up the programmable charge to the 68802 if you decide to spend the cash on it. i like the 68802 :)

I have a thermal engineering scale 4900 . It works fine and all but has one annoying feature, when the "on" timer times out and the screen goes blank and you hit on again and it resumes in Kg. and you have to reselect ounces. Sometimes I forget to switch it, so far it hasn't bit me but it's a PITA, so I was wondering if the YJ does that also, because I'm all set to add another scale that has a solenoid, and the YJ looks good.
Thanks!

read the fine print on the accuracy
used alot of tif 9030's over the years with no problems with any one of them.
but i think thier accuracy is +- %10. i think... i cannot remember
i would like to have something alot closer than that :) if i were paying for something with my own money.
oh, and the 9030's i have used don't have a auto shut off. forget to turn it off, you better be packing a 9v battery ;)
