Hey,

I have a scotsman 12-2582-21 ice machine pump that
servicer called me about. All I have in stock is the BRPAP1 ,
which does not have the side mounts on the motor . They are
asking if there is a replacement pump besides the OEM . The
cost of the OEM is out of this world . ( Before anybody starts throwing
eggs.... I am not the one trying to be cheap here) . Thanks for any help.

I've switched pumps around all over the place when I was renting units. the Universal pump should work up to around a 600# unit I would guess. The only
problem I have had is too much flow and had to use a restrictor on the pump outlet. I haven't used the Beckett universal but it looks very much like the Scotsman CM pumps.
