Saw these today at Costco for $20, and just had to have them. I think they will be quite handy when working on copper tubing. The Bionic Grip works on 1/4-9/16 OD tubing or nuts, and the Bionic Wrench works on any nut or tubing between the same sizes. Haven't gotten to play with them much, but I'm thinking they might come in handy getting tubing back into round if you accidentally kink it a little bit.

Use a flaring bar to reround your tubing that gets kinked.

A crescent wrench works pretty well, too.

other than a bike tire or something with a lot of space I don't know about that
I've seen them for a while but have resisted :(
Some other cool looking stuff at their site that I can't talk myself into

I picked up one a month ago, I used it ones or twice and came to the conclusion they work better on TV. If you want some wrenches, I suggest a good set of box wrenches for nuts and bolts and a Ridgid pipe wrench for pipes

This is a great tip for those minor kinks in copper tubing

The best tools to use on flare nuts are "Flare Nut Wrenches". Period.

I like to use a box end wrench on my flare fittings... getting them off can be tricky though.:D

Imperial Eastman makes a Kwik Tite Wrench that is a box end wrench that ratchets on tubing. Remembered having a set in a CTK in the Air Force.

Yep it's hard for the Kwik Tite to slip off the flare nut.

anyone else notice that the newer flare nuts are NOT standard but metric. maybe we are just buying the cheap stuff.
I have to have both metric and standard flare wrenches now!!

Yes they do. We used them on aluminum oxygen flare nuts which are quite easy to round off. The Kwik Tites worked great. The feature I liked was that it would ratchet back for the next swing.
