Obama's tax proposals run into opposition from fellow Democrats in Senate
What? Democrats that don't agree with a tax cut? Golly!

I worked the polls and it was about 3 to 1 for Obama. Most of the voters were not paying any taxes, just sucking off the system. I would be willing to bet with 95% accuracy, I could pick who voted for which candidate. Except the Hillary Clinton write in vote, LMAO. The people who elected him are not concerned with getting a tax refund/rebate/lowered/etc, they don't pay any now. JMHO

That is one of the scariest thoughts I've recently come across....and probably one of the most accurate.
Bunch of people in this town are planning an inauguration party for the 20th. Figure I'll do some drinking as well.

Last week I heard of a study that revealed that up to 44% of our young Americans do NOT think that Socialism is a bad thing.
I did allot of drinking around the election knowing what was to come. Now it's time to get busy.

If you haven't earned wealth, socialism seems a good idea.
If you've earned some wealth, socialism is difficult to justify.
If you've earned/inherited/married into great wealth, e.g., George Soros, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, you can set your own agendas without regard to honestly addressing the legitimacy of socialism. It's becomes more a matter of power. :(
